What can I see and do at Agate Beach County Park?
- The high bank above the beach has several picnic tables on a small grassy lawn.
- The Beach faces west which means this is a lovely spot for an evening picnic.
- The Beach itself is rocky and steep but when the tide is low the sandy seafloor is exposed and you can walk out to the nearby rocky island.
- The open, west facing, bay gets some of the most amazing wind and waves during storms. Locals often park here to appreciate the power of the sea.
